Hi my name is courtney dodson i am 17 years old and have always wanted to become a plus size model. I where a size 13 in jeans and have always been teased about how big iam although i am very happy with my body. But sometimes i have very low self esteem and i wld realy love to be able to show myself to people and show them that iam beautiful to.

Every single one of these women are gorgeous. I prefer a woman this size over a woman who is stick thin any day. Kudos to Glamour for FINALLY recognizing that beauty does come in all shapes and sizes!

I applaud Glamour for first breaking the size barrier in mainstream magazines!

I am so happy to see that the status quo is constantly being challenged. These women in the picture are as gorgeous and as sexy as any real woman. This will inspire all upcoming generations in knowing that there’s nothing wrong to being a natural woman.

These women are the natural and, to me, more attractive women than the skin and bones type that you always see in magazines. The really skinny models with breast implants is just not what I find to be beautiful. I don’t read glamour magazine and I stumbled upon this from CNN but I think its great that people like Glamour and Dove are embracing the natural beauty of women!

ok, these are beautiful woman but how can the magazine call them plus sized! They’re average sized woman, not plus sized. I’m glad that they’re doing this but lets be real here…I’m a size 8 and I look like these woman (minus the photoshopping away of the cellulite, that is).
