Ugh!!! However it is to be expected. A lot of attention is turning to East Africa after the discovery of copious amounts of oil in different regions and young suburbanites armed with their parent’s credit cards actually think it is THEIR bright idea to do “Something about the horrible situation in which Ugandans are living.”
I have an entire lecture for people who are thinking about “slumming it” as they looove to call it so they can find an obviously lacking conscience. Needless to say, no one has been sent my way in a long time!
